KEY FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
The incumbent is responsible for machining, stripping and assembling of various engineering
equipment, trouble shooting.
Responsible for carrying out routine maintenance of all plant equipment.
Standby duties and Mentoring of apprentices.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERINCE:
A minimum education of 5 ‘O’ levels including English, Mathematics and a Science subject.
Apprenticeship trained as a Fitter & Turner.
Experience in a Chemical or mining Industry will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a heavy industry or mining environment.
Capable of working under minimum supervision and a self-starter.
Incumbent should be disciplined and must be able to communicate at all levels.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
